Nice old railroad trail along the Saint John river all day. Lots of small towns. Had to service my front hub on the side of the trail :-/ Seems to be holding up.

Two Border Collies followed me for a REALLY long time. In the end I had to work hard to outpace them in order to loose the tail.

Good day of trail riding. Saw a bear, a lynx and a moose! Weird arriving in to Woodstock, weird feel to the town. Sat in Tim Hortons and planned my next stop.

Nice section along the river before the heavens opened! Luckily made it inside the tent before the worst of it.

Some trail, some road. Had to make a big detour where the New Brunswick Trail didn't exist.

Tough day. Left quad/knee giving me some trouble,mosquitoes are CRAZY and I can't stop for even ten seconds! Broke frame bag zip and lost rack bolt. Push onwards in the rain heading for a cabin, but it turned out to be full of mosquitoes so I had to put my tent up inside. Raining really hard outside and I have some repair work to do.

Also 1100m of ascent!

Noticed front hub had play just before leaving Saint John. Got it sorted at the bike shop before leaving town no problem.

Fun day on the trail. Saw a moose. Had to detour around 2 missing bridges. Stopped early at a hut for dinner, nice to be out of the mosquitoes. Camping near St. George, looking forward to Tim Hortons for breakfast.

Bit more of the same hilly road, but then hit a country market for coffee and snacks before getting back on the trail. Took 5 minute ferry and found myself transported from run-down rural area into a very well-off neighbourhood. Quite the contrast!

Nice ride towards Saint John, the bike lane turned into a hilly trail before hitting the hilly city streets! The hilly port town instantly reminded me of Saint John's, Newfoundland. Seems like a nice place for a break.

So many hills! Glad I took my alternate route, because this was more than enough elevation. Mostly quiet roads, but non-stop rolling hills and wind all day.

Happy to get so many km done, as I wanted to bang through the road section. Burger + poutine + beer at JJ's Diner was the perfect reward. Found a camp spot in no time... a bush not far from the restaurant.
