Hungerless in Seattle
Posted on 10/09/2012 under Canada
Day two started with gourmet brunch of baked eggs and chorizon. The kitchen was open and from our seats we could watch the chefs prepare our food. After brunch I met up with Andy who was my gracious host during my last trip to Seattle. We visited Ballard Locks which links the salt water Puget Sound to Lake Union. There is also an impressive fish ladder with glass inspection windows which was fascinating as the salmon are currently running.
Topping this off Andy and I visited a barbecue diner where I had a brisket sandwich and a pint – followed by some more beer. A very nice way to end a day.
Now I head down to Portland where I hope to sample lots of local beers.

Glad you see you are still alive. I was getting a little worried about you. š
